This is the one I made for Seth's birthday at Nana and Papa's house. That's an oyster on top. Honest...
This is the one I made for Seth's birthday at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

What can I say. They were made with love.

    Very cute! Reminds me of the days I used to do that for my girls. My favorite was an Ariel cake, using a dome cake to make a rock and shoving the Ariel doll in the center and drawing her tail on with icing. She loved it!

    I hope he likes Cookie Monster someday. I picked up a Cookie Monster cake pan at a garage sale this summer for a quarter.

    Rose, my grandma made me a Barbie cake the same way. Funny thing is, I almost never played with Barbi dolls.

    Sure, Lisa, we'll pretend it was a theme -- two parties and two cakes because he's two!
