My friend Karen died on Wednesday. I haven't seen her in a long time -- over a year and a half -- but I've been meaning to ask her to lunch so we could catch up. She never even met Seth.

Thanks everyone. Her death is a reminder of how important it is to spend time with those we love. You just never know when they can be taken from you. I hate the fact that I'd "been meaning" to catch up with her. Now it's too late.
