20% Yes, and it's going swimmingly. (Good for you!)
40% Yes, but it's not going so well. (Aww, don't give up!)
30% No. I'm at a good weight. (Good for you, too!)
0% No. I'm trying to gain weight.

My own diet is going pretty well. So far I've lost eleven pounds. My long-term goal is 140 pounds. Well, actually, my goal is a size 10, which I think will be roughly 140 pounds. After that, I'll think about getting down to a size 8.

On the shorter term, just getting into a size 16 will be a huge accomplishment for me. I was almost into a size 16 when my last diet faltered in 2004.

I really need to pick up some healthy snacks. I've been dieting for three-and-a-half weeks, which means I've been hungry for three-and-a-half weeks. I'm beginning to feel true sympathy for the likes of Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) in Notting Hill, who said she'd been dieting since she was 19, which meant she'd been hungry for a decade. If I'd just get some low-calorie snacks, maybe I wouldn't be so hungry.

How about nuts? Those are good for you...or pork rinds...

I hope you feel un-hungry soon!

i love baby carrots with low fat ranch dressing. Nuts are good, and fruit is always yum. I love rozen grapes!

Congratulations on losing 11 lbs. It's hard work for sure! I have been running again and eating healthier for 9 months and have lost about 6 lbs. I am also trying to get down to 140.

    Good Luck!

oh yeah snacks...almonds, rasins, yogurt, chips and salsa, hummus and pita bread, red peppers with low-fat dip, cottage cheese with peaches, and fruit and cheese (i.e. apples with cheddar or pear with brie).

I started Weight Watchers 17 weeks ago and have lost 27 punds so far. I suggest finding a class near you and try that. I am on the point system and can eat anything I want as long as I only eat the amount of points I am allowed for the day. I also have been eating more fruits and vegetables and drinking more water. That is a BIG help. Be sure to drink your 6-8 glasses of 8 ounce water.
