I work from home most days now, so this afternoon I popped a roast in the oven for dinner. How very domestic of me! Of course, a half hour later Bob called to say that he'll be home late, but I still think I get a gold star.

Isn't that what always happens? I'd rather have it that way though than, you're running late and he's home early.
Oh BTW-nothing fancy with that illustration, just pencil, Bic Mark It-markers and a little colored pencil.

Lou is here with me at work today. He is helping build a press box for a big event we are going to have soon.
(Actually, I volunteered Lou). I just ordered him a pizza and since the boss is not here, I am going to use petty cash to pay for it. I will guilt the boss into accepting the charge!!

The roast was fantastic! I'm not a terribly good cook, and even if I do say so myself, it was great.
Yay! I love cooking new things and tried two new dinners this last weekend. A pork loin and a red wine mushroom chicken, they both turned out yummy!
Red wine mushroom chicken? Boy, someone is fancy! Mine was just a basic chuck roast. :)
Man! Must be nice working from home. You college graduates have it so easy.
